Meet Our Co-Editor, Janice Obuchowski
The Threepenny Editor is thrilled to welcome Janice Obuchowski to our editing team. Janice was a fiction editor at the New England Review and annually serves on the admissions board for the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. She has been a lecturer in creative writing at the University of Vermont and Middlebury College. She’s an agented novelist, and her fiction appears in Gettysburg Review, Passages North, Slice, and Seattle Review. She earned her BA in English from Cornell University, MA in English from the University of Virginia, and MFA in fiction from the University of California, Irvine.
She will specialize in evaluating short stories and submission materials. See our new services below!
We now offer short story editing and agent submissions!
As a short fiction specialist and experienced admissions board member, Janice's work will complement Threepenny's existing services.
For short story writers: Janice can help by offering your work the benefit of an editor who works at a top literary journal.
For novelists: If you are preparing your novel for agents or contest submissions, Janice's background at a highly selective writers' conference will help you identify where your chapters and query letter can improve.
We are so excited to serve a wider variety of authors and to help make your materials exemplary. In addition to our eighteen years' experience in novel development and self-publishing design services, The Threepenny Editor is delighted to welcome such an articulate, talented, and experienced editor to the team. Contact us today to discuss your project!
